Okay, when am I going to learn to stop doubting and trust God? This week was too good, and my new comp is so mother. Literally, she is twenty-five. She is so awesome, and I love her already.
Okay so Tuesday was a travel day and I dropped Hermana Nava off at the bus station at 7 am and then had to wait till my new comp (Hermana Malendez) arrived which wasn't until almost 3 pm. But guys this was the best day ever. If I'm being so real, I maybe sorta kinda think my AP is cute, might have a little crush HAHAHAHAH. but anyway, he waited with me the whole time and said prez extended him until Feb 26th. So long story short, no one needs to worry about me coming home until at least Feb 26th totally kidding!!!!! Kinda.

So we were looking for a referral and stumbled upon 3 sisters sitting outside their house. These girls are so funny they are Gypsys and their voices sound like 70-year-old man smokers. Kinda aesthetic. Anyway, we sat down with them to talk more and they are kinda interested, could be a cool success story, I'll update you on them in the future. BUT the most interesting thing to me was about halfway through I had an epiphany. And it's probably because it's almost Halloween but YOU GUYS I SWEAR THESE SISTERS ARE THE THREE WITCHES FROM HOCUS POCUS. like literally they are them. I wish I had a photo to show you guys HAHA I'll work on that.

We don't have groceries right now so we eat the most random food. Literally, anything that's in the fridge. A literal block of cheese for dinner. Deseret..... Almonds and maple syrup.

This is awesome. I don't know if I've mentioned this but we live above a couple in our ward, the Frejos. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. they are actually my Mexican parents. We always eat with them because they love to feed us and they really like me for some reason but anyway I'm obsessed with her chimichangas and she knows that so every day she asks me if I want some and on Sunday I said yes please, so I'm eating with them and she brings out 3 chimichangas. I'm like this is chill I can handle this (after already eating a whole meal) BUT THEN she's like want more... I'm like idk maybe 1... SHE BRINGS OUT 3 MORE HAHAHHAHAH. I ate 6 chimichangas.
As for the work, we put 8 people on date this week. I bet only 5 happen though. My bestie Aldo is progressing well and his baptism is THIS WEEKEND so excited about this one keep him in your prayers, please.

The last thing lol, we were out contacting and some old guy stopped me and was like "Are you God?, yup, you are God". HAHA WHAT. poor guy was mentally not there but he genuinely thought I was glowing. Probably because it was golden hour, I have blue eyes, and to them my hair is blonde. So I do stick out very much. But he said he could see my spirit glowing. I thought this was actually really sweet and I took it as a compliment and turned it spiritual haha. In Matthew 5: 14-16 it talks about letting your light shine for the world, holding up the light within us which is Christ our Savior. I encourage everyone to study this chapter and think about how you can shine your light to those around you.

Let this funny story be an example to you that no matter what you are doing you always stand as a representative of Christ because he is within us, and we are God's children. SHINE YOUR LIGHT!!
Lots of love, Hermana Steuer
