Idk where the time went but I've been a missionary for one month now whattttt!!!!!! I swear I've only been here for a week but also forever lol. I only have a week and a half left and then I'm shipped across the border, wish me luck! Jk haha I'm actually so excited I can't wait!
2 things I gotta share...
1. I've found my true calling in life, I'm a singer. I coulda been born into Dana Linder's family I'm that good. No, JK I'm actually horrible but I do sing a lot and laugh tons. We started this trend in our hall by singing in the showers; it became the daily highlight. AND then my district decided to join the choir, which I swore I wouldn't do. But here I am, a choir member. K but actually I'm so glad we did because we sang Army of Helaman and it was SO powerful. It is truly incredible hearing 300 + missionaries singing about sharing His truth and being His army.
2. We taught our first lesson in Spanish and it did not go as planned. I thought I would have the gift of tongues but ig I haven't reached that level yet. I told the guy "We are all your children" instead of "We are all His children". Honest mistake right I think he got the message still.

A little spiritual thought for you guys bringing me back to my musical roots... I was listening to the song 'Send Me' from the Strive to Be album and in it, it says, "I am not perfect, but here I am, send me" and that has been stuck in my mind all week. God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called. (Give it a listen)
Also, my scripture study this week has consisted of lots of Alma and all the great battles and wars, and my biggest takeaway has been that our God is a God of miracles. He is capable and will do whatever he sees fit to comfort and help those who stand in need of it, so just have faith and trust in his plan for you. Put everything you have into the Lord.
I challenge everyone to go read in Alma... specifically Alma 14
