Hi. Let's jump right into it.
- Wednesday was a rough day to say the least. Jk that's dramatic but listen to what happened. We've been teaching these cute little kids and one of them is named Isaac. I met him on intercambios with Hna Romero, so when we went back this week he was like "where's your daughter" I'm like what? My daughter? HE LITTERALLY THOUGHT HNA ROMERO WAS MY DAUGHTER BRUH HAHAHHAAHAH. I'm like, how old do you think I am? He's like "idk 24?" Bruh 24 with a grown up daughter???? Do I really look that old?? And then later Aaron was looking through my insta and saw a photo of Tessa and I (shoutout Tessa ily) and goes "is she your mom" WHAT?? I was dying laughing idek guys, these kids are just crazy.
Oh and also, that same night Aaron tricked me into drinking coffee??? Okay, he didn't realize the drink had coffee in it, and then when he googled it and found out it had 20% coffee, he goes, "Well, we're both sinners now, but only 20% of a sin" I was dying laughing for like 10 minutes. Now he calls me pecadora, which translates to sinner.
- Okay, I know I talk about Aaron in every email but he's just that great, guys, like seriously besties over here. We were teaching one of his friends how to pray and he was getting frustrated like "bruh it's not that hard" HAHA I was dying. He was trying to explain each paso like we do and even gave examples of things his friend could say. By the end though he was so annoyed he was like alright just let me do it. Might need to have a lesson on Christlike attributes like patience lol but seriously future missionary right here. I know I shouldn't have a favorite convert but like.....
An American song was playing, and he goes Oh yeah, I know what it's talking about and tries to quote it, saying, "Dónde está the barber shop," the song was a sky full of stars. Enough said.
- A dog peed on Hna Marquez on Tuesday, and then on Saturday she ran into a pole and half her face was swollen the rest of the day. I'm sorry but I was laughing SO HARD, we all were. Girl had a hard week. She just goes "estaba sufriendo en silencio". I hope I never forget these moments.
Guys, sorry this email literally has nothing spiritual it's all just funny moments of my week, but yk a mission is fun so thats okay. There was a moment on Sunday (sorry for breaking dia de reposo but like you have to understand we're babysitting over here I swear) where we were sitting outside the store on the sidewalk just drinking our slushies and goofing off in the warm sun and I just thought to myself yk this is happiness. I'm here with my two converts who I just brought to church and 'hopefully' changed their whole future. Like this is the life yk.
ANDDDD the news you've been waiting for..... NO TRASNFERRSSSSSS!!!!!!!! God loves me and Marquez and we are staying together for another transfer. I'm going to kill her (she'll end her mish with me) and we both were SCREAMING for joy when we found out. Like we're bouta dominant and baptize so many more of our friends and have another 6 weeks of amazingness. I'm so freaking pumped. #worththehills
