Girlfriend or daughter??????

Writer: Sophia SteuerSophia Steuer

YOU GUYS WON'T EVEN BELIEVE WHAT I'M ABOUT TO SAY...........

ALDO GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY This was actually just the biggest miracle from God. We didn't even have Aldo on date to be baptized anymore and he was lowkey ignoring us. I was prepared to turn him into a grey point but we needed to give it one last shot before pulling the plug and BAM God worked his mighty magic. I still don't understand how or what was said to make him feel prepared but I do know God is in all the details and his timing is PERFECT, he is the real converter, I'm just the messenger. Feeling so grateful to have a father in heaven who knows us and hears our prayers. His plan is better than anything we could create on our own and he just asks for us to have faith to pursue it.

This is Aldo's girlfriend... you could tell me she's his daughter and I'd believe you. It is time to pray for him to find a wife in the church.

Onto a new thought, here are some weekly highlights.

- Made brownies in a bucket

- Fixed my broken camera finally; get ready for more photos!!!!

- Went to the fair?????????

- Primary program = 29 NAE

- Bien machín

- Had zone conference and made the mistake of using self-tanner the night before... I woke up looking like an Oompa Loompa, it was so bad. For the first time I was grateful my president's wife doesn't let us take photos after cause I didn't want anyone to remember me like that.

Another Fraijo story and keep in mind I like shrimp. So we were eating lunch and talking about all the weird foods they have here in Mexico cause hna Fraijo tricked me into eating chicken veins idek guys. But she showed me a picture of this cockroach meal and I was like absolutely not, don't even try. So she laughed and proceeded to search on her phone. She pulls up a Google source saying that shrimp is labeled the cockroach of the sea. She makes this face at me and starts dying laughing, of course, I'm laughing too but lowkey a part of me was just terrified. She just had to put me in my place.

Bruh another terrifying experience speaking in front of people this week. Got the amazing! news 2 weeks ago that we were chosen to attend and represent at stake mission emphasis which I've been dreading. Jk totally grateful for the opportunities to practice my Spanish and speaking skills!!! Basically, if you don't know what this is (cause I didn't) it's all the bishops and councilmen in the stake and then youth preparing to serve missions.

The youth just get to ask a bunch of questions and we answer them up on the stand. Hermana Melendez and I literally had our mic between us shoving it back and forth at our laps for who was gonna answer next. I'm like girl you literally speak this language fluently take the dang mic HAHA. so funny love her. Anyway, when we walked into the building everyone thought Hermama Melendez and I were the STLs because that's normally who you'd choose for this kinda thing but nope! In walks me who has been here 4 months and Hermana Melendez 6 months, literally just us and the LZs. Bishop afterward said how impressed he was that we were chosen with what little time we had. I lowkey think it's just cause we both dress cute but I'm not gonna tell him that. Anyway, it felt like a cute father-daughter "proud of you moment" for my Spanish and made me think of my dad. Love you, Dad, shout out to you!

Okay, that's it for this week. Transfers are next week and everyone PLEASEEE pray I stay here for one more transfer with Hermana Melendez. I swear we just got together and I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Fraijos or my ward.

Also love this clip from Holland so much. So short but powerful. Only 1 minute watch it, please!!

Lots of love,

Hermana Steuer
